From July 22nd to August 19th, the Joint Art Center is delighted to present the magnificent solo exhibition Fanciful Blossoms by Du Qiurui. Curated by Aqing, this exhibition showcases the collision of dopamine and tranquility. Du Qiurui's artworks brim with bittersweet emotions, creating an artistic and cultural feast. Through his personal experiences and perspectives, Du Qiurui interprets "love" while also attempting to use art to heal his inner self. UCCA (Ullens Center for Contemporary Art) has collaborated with the Matisse Museum in France to meticulously select nearly 300 artworks, providing a comprehensive presentation of Matisse's artistic career.Entitled Matisse By Matissethe, the exhibition is divided into 10 sections according to a chronological timeline. It starts with Matisse's early academic period, showcasing his copies and stylistic explorations.It then proceeds to feature some of his iconic works during his experiments with the Fauvist movement, as well as his exploration of the human body and portraiture through mediums such as sculpture, drawing, and printmaking in the 1920s and 1930s. Additionally, the exhibition will feature the inspiration and influence brought by Matisse's trip to Tahiti, as well as his vibrant oil paintings and ink line drawings that became iconic in the 1940s. This exhibition immersively recreated and showcased the classic stories from the Peter Rabbit series, portraying the enchanting natural world depicted by the author, Beatrix Potter, and her incredible life story.The theme of this exhibition, "The Eternal Adventure," is inspired by the adventurous and surprising tales of Peter Rabbit and his friends. 当代唐人艺术中心荣幸地宣布，将于2023年8月12日下午4点在北京第二空间呈现艺术家伍伟的全新个展“皮毛 & 原始的金黄”，由张营营担任策展人。此次展览将展出伍伟近两年的全新系列作品，除了经典“皮毛”系列，如“分裂的皮毛”“混合的皮毛”“金色皮毛”之外，还将展示“关于触感的习作”“身体阅读”“皮与纹样”等全新媒介及创作方法的作品，以及他首次创作的小尺幅绘画“野人”等。Contemporary Tang Ren Art Center is pleased to announce that esteemed artist Wu Wei’s new solo exhibition Fur and Primal Gold opened to the public at Beijing Second Space on the 12th August. The exhibition is curated by Zhang Yingying.
This exhibition will showcase Wu Wei's new body of work from the past two years. In addition to the classic "Fur" series, featuring pieces such as "Split Fur," "Blended Fur," and "Golden Fur," the show will also feature new mediums and creative approaches, including works centered around "Textures of Touch," "Body Interpretations," and "Skin and Patterns." Additionally, it will include his debut series of smaller-sized paintings titled "Wild Man."

北京常青画廊很荣幸在坐落于798艺术区中心的室内空间，第三次举办艺术家汉斯·欧普·德·贝克的个展。这位跨媒介比利时艺术家在画廊标志性的一楼大厅主空间打造了一间架上绘画陈列厅，展陈其中的作品包括13幅同系列水彩画，以及一间首映艺术家最新影像作品《灭点》（Vanishing Point）的放映厅。除此之外，艺术家还将在画廊其他空间展出20余件近期创作的雕塑作品。
展览将以叙述的形式从一楼大厅的水彩画开始向观众娓娓道来，这些画作描绘了迷人的雪景夜景和海景，以及神秘的人物、奇幻的动物和静物。而雕塑则刻画了成人和儿童的形象，他们通常处于冥想或高度集中的状态。大部分雕塑都在展现人与人生活之间的日常小插曲：从情侣青涩懵懂的爱情到晚年夫妇心有灵犀的默契。The Beijing GALLERIACONTINUA is honored to host, for the third time, a solo exhibition by the artist Hans Op de Beeck in its indoor space located at the heart of the 798 Art District. The Belgian artist, working across various media, has transformed the iconic ground floor hall of the gallery into a hall for displaying his framed paintings. The exhibition includes 13 watercolor paintings from the same series and a screening room premiering the artist's latest video work titled "Vanishing Point." Additionally, the artist will showcase over 20 recently created sculptures in other spaces of the gallery.
The exhibition will unfold in a narrative manner, commencing with the watercolor paintings in the ground floor hall, captivating the audience with enchanting snowy night scenes, seascapes, mysterious figures, fantastical creatures, and still life depictions. The sculptures, on the other hand, portray both adult and child figures often engaged in moments of meditation or deep concentration. Most of the sculptures aim to capture the everyday nuances between people, from the tender and tentative love of young couples to the unspoken understanding of elderly partners.

Galerie Urs Meile Beijing is pleased to announce the latest solo exhibition of Zhang Xuerui (b. 1979, Shanxi) , titled In Search of Lost Time. Her artistic practice seeks to establish unique logic and methods of artmaking by intentionally setting up various constraints. Her exploration of objects, matter, and materiality underscores an intention to trace transience and temporal modality. By adopting artistic media from painting to sculpture and installation, Zhang uses objects and painting methods to reflect on relationships between the self and others. She conceives her artworks as a conduit of artistic discourse and life spectacles where one discovers history, memories, present, and future.

This is the first major exhibition in China that focuses on contemporary art inspired by oracle bone inscriptions. It is not only an exploration of the ideographic nature of oracle bone script but also a contemporary examination of ancient cultural heritage. The exhibition is divided into three sections: "Form," "Sound," and "Meaning," aiming to revitalize ancient cultural heritage through contemporary art. It features the participation of 38 artists and musicians.

亨利·德·图卢兹·罗特列克(Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec)作为后印象派画家，绘画风格深受印象派画家德加和日本浮世绘艺术的影响，绘画内容取材于生活，善于用简练的笔触和独特的构图组织画面。并且在对画面的重点突出上，比同一时期的梵高更进一步，用最括性的线条，带有浓重主观色彩的表达方式，去夸张地凸显整幅画的主题，从“写实”中脱离出来，打开了艺术的新形式。
浮生巴黎系列作品是罗特列克最全体系的收藏展览，该系列一共收藏了近250幅罗特列克的珍贵作品，其中还包含了一组罗特列克的亲笔信和旧照片，以及两位罗特列克最喜欢的艺术家Aristide Bruant的个人物品和Yvette Guilbert的信件。
此次通过他的个展，我们仿佛重回19世纪末巴黎的夜晚，寻找当年的蒙马特和红磨坊，跟着艺术家一起体味他如同苦艾酒的一生。
Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, as a Post-Impressionist painter, was deeply influenced by the impressionist Degas and Japanese Ukiyo-e art, and his paintings were based on life. In terms of emphasis on the picture, he went further than Van Gogh in the same period, using the most bracing lines and a strong subjective expression to exaggerate the theme of the whole painting, breaking away from "realism" and opening up a new form of art.
The Floating Paris series is the most comprehensive exhibition of Routledge's collection, which contains nearly 250 of Routledge's rare works, including a collection of Routledge's own letters and old photographs, as well as personal objects from two of Routledge's favorite artists, Aristide Bruant and letters from Yvette Guilbert.
This time, through his solo exhibition, we feel like going back to the night of Paris at the end of the 19th century, looking for the Montmartre and Moulin Rouge back then, and following the artist to experience his life like absinthe.
