履古复新·墨润山海
——悉尼展览序言
余观弟子王云云，赴悉尼七载，三十六载人生辗转，却无半分时光蹉跎，始终以笔墨为执念，于中华书道中笃行深耕。今以 “履古复新” 为主题在悉尼举办书法作品展，传中华文脉于异域，余深感其赤诚，谨为之序。

云云生于安徽宿州，幼承家教，与笔墨结缘。求学中国政法大学时，幸遇玺文先生启蒙，笃定投身书法艺术学习与研究，后又陆续拜入润堂、与舍轩门下，悟得 “书以载道，字如其人”。云云不独临池练笔，更潜心研读经典，涵养心性气韵，笔墨由青涩温和渐趋沉静定厚。

从修习律法到坚守书道，她跨越专业与职业之鸿沟，多年来笔耕不辍，以笔墨滋养内心。远渡重洋后，毅然弃法律从书艺，于悉尼授业传道，将中华书法之美播撒海外。此番办展，她筹备两载，虽遇诸多阻碍，却初心不改，凭一腔热忱攻克万难，只为在异国搭建文化之桥，让中华墨韵光耀四方。

The Past, Reawakened
Ink Enriching Mountains and Seas— Preface for Calligraphy Exhibition in Sydney
My student, Wang Yunyun, who has resided in Sydney for seven years and traversed thirty-six years of life’s journey without wasting a single moment. With heartfelt devotion to brush and ink, she has cultivated her path within the tradition of Chinese calligraphy. Now，under the theme“The Past, Reawakened”she presents this exhibition in Sydney, connecting Chinese culture across distant boarders. I am deeply moved by her sincerity and thus offer this preface.

Born in Suzhou, Anhui, Yunyun was introduced to calligraphy at an early age through family heritage. During her studies at China University of Political Science and Law, she encountered Mr.Xiwen, whose guidance inspired her to commit herself fully to the study and practice of calligraphic art. She later apprenticed under Runtang and Yushexuan, from whom she came to understand that “calligraphy carries the Way, and each written character reflects the person.”Beyond diligent practice, she immersed herself in classical texts, cultivating both temperament and spirit; her brushwork has thus evolved from naive youth into a style of depth, and consolidated strength.

From the study of law to the pursuit of calligraphy, she has crossed the divide between disciplines and professions. For years, she has practiced tirelessly, nourishing her inner world through ink and brush. After journeying abroad, she relinquished a legal career to dedicate herself to the art of calligraphy in Sydney, where she now teaches and shares its traditions, sowing the seeds of Chinese aesthetic culture overseas. This exhibition spans over two years in preparation, certainly brought obstacles; yet with passion and perseverance, she has overcome every difficulty, seeking to build a bridge of culture in a foreign land and to let the resonance of Chinese ink shine far and wide.
“The Past”signifies adherence to the millennia-old disciplines of calligraphic art, inheriting the roots of cultural tradition and preserving the authenticity of Chinese heritage. “Reawakened”signifies the revitalization of calligraphy in a global context—using brush and ink as a medium to transcend cultural boundaries and to connect Eastern and Western civilizations.

Ink blurs borders: cultural heritage endures. May this exhibition, through the art of calligraphy, convey the virtues of gentleness, humility, and harmony that define the Chinese spirit, and continue the living flame of a thousand-year tradition. May more viewers, through each stroke and line, come to appreciate the profound depth of Chinese culture, and join in this cultural encounter that bridges mountains and seas.

关于艺术家
杨华 | Yang Hua
字涵之，号润堂。别署兰若精舍、独上高楼。先后师从书法家卢中南、张有清、赵熊三位先生。国家一级美术师，国家艺术基金专家库成员，央视书画频道“一日一印”栏目主讲。参加各类全国主流书法大展数十次，出版专著和作品集四十余种，多幅作品被中南海、中共中央办公厅、民进中央、中国驻韩国大使馆等重要国家机关和各地博物馆、艺术馆收藏陈列。
号玉清，别署舒卷楼，悉尼继明堂、玉清文苑创始人。师承杨华、宿悦等明师，受卢中南、张有清等诸家指点，以唐楷为宗，深研《灵飞经》和唐人写经各经典范本。楷书灵动飞扬，用笔劲健，尽显唐风。另兼学钟繇、二王、褚遂良、欧阳询、赵孟頫、文征明等诸家，气息沉稳内敛，神气空灵而不散逸。在笔墨之间探索古人神清气和的和谐与精妙。
玉清文苑（Jadeclear Culture Center）是一家立足悉尼、面向海外的中国传统文化机构。机构以传播中国传统文化为使命，致力于搭建中西方文化交流的桥梁，增进多元文化之间的沟通与理解。机构以中国传统诗、书、画、印四大艺术形式为核心媒介，以传承中华经典文脉为根本，结合当代审美视野，通过策划展览呈现艺术家的原创新作，让传统在当代语境中焕发生机。同时，玉清文苑积极推动中国传统文化的海外宣传、推广与教育，促进不同文化背景下的交流互鉴，为多元文化社区搭建对话的平台。Jadeclear Culture Center is a Chinese traditional culture institution based in Sydney, Australia. Our mission is to promote Chinese traditional culture overseas, build bridgesbetween Eastern and Western civilisations, and foster cross-cultural communication and understanding. Rooted in the four classical art forms of Chinese poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving, the Centre is dedicated to preserving and continuing the legacy of Chinese cultural heritage. By integrating contemporary aesthetics, we curate exhibitions that present original works by artists bringing tradition to life within a modern context.
