恪理画廊 (Caelis Galeria) 正于「2023 West Bund Art & Design 第十届西岸艺术与设计博览会」B126展位展出。本次艺博会展出了包括亚当·汉德勒（Adam Handler）、阿罗尔（Arol）、奥古斯·威利亚（August Vilella）、黛比·瑞达（Debbie Reda)、雅各布·维拉托（Jacob Vilató）、杰米·桑德罗（Jaime Sancorlo）、胡安·米格尔·帕拉西奥斯（Juan Miguel Palacios）、八进制（Vuitbits）和哈维·卡波内（Xavi Carbonell）在内的9位艺术家最新力作，为观众们呈现一场超现实主义、波普艺术与抽象表现主义相交融的视觉盛宴。

Caelis Galeria is currently on view at 2023 West Bund Art & Design, booth B126. We bring you a selection of works works by Adam Handler, Arol, August Vilella, Debbie Reda, Jacob Vilató, Jaime Sancorlo, Juan Miguel Palacios, Vuitbits and Xavi Carbonell, presenting a visual feast of surrealism, pop art and abstract expressionism.

恪理画廊展位亮点作品来自奥古斯·维利亚（August Vilella）。在“香港巴塞尔艺术展”“与艺术大师萨尔瓦多·达利（Salvador Dalí）作品一同于巴塞罗那「米拉之家」举办的个展「揭幕之眼」“等多个项目圆满落成后，这位极富天赋的艺术家最终携其年度新作来到今年的西岸艺术与设计博览会现场。其中，作品《和谐无间》（Harmony)不仅是艺术家首次对大尺幅画作的挑战，更是对其心灵归处“自然之境”及故乡巴塞罗那的写照；《为你等待》（Wait For You)与《月亮之梦》（Moon's Dream）亦折射出艺术家对于生活中细微幸福感的关照，为观者带来慰藉。

Highlights from August Vilella's artworks at the booth of Caelis Galeria. After a number of successful projects such as Art Basel Hong Kong and the solo exhibition 「Unveiling The Eye」at Barcelona's La Pedrera alongside the works of Salvador Dalí, this talented artist has finally arrived at this year's West Bund Art & Design with his annual new work. Among them, "Harmony" is not only the artist's first challenge to large-scale painting, but also a reflection of his spiritual home, the realm of nature and his hometown of Barcelona; "Wait For You" and  "Moon's Dream" also reflect the artist's sense of happiness in the smallest details of life, bringing solace to viewers.

亚当·汉德勒（Adam Handler）在本次展会上依旧带来了他标志性的女孩与小幽灵《甜瓜天空下的尖叫蒜头女孩和幽灵》(Screaming Onion Head Girl and Ghost under a Melon Sky)——斑斓色彩与随性笔触带来的冲击力，在大尺幅的画布上得以凸现；黛比·瑞达（Debbie Reda)也为展会专门绘制了大幅画作《行星课》（The Planet Lesson)，艺术家一改平日亮色背景的风格，以黑色背景展现一场趣味横生的小怪兽讨论场景，将好奇氛围与诙谐感融为一体。

Adam Handler continues to bring his signature girls and ghosts to the show with "Screaming Onion Head Girl and Ghost under a Melon Sky" .The impact of colour and spontaneous brushstrokes is brought to life on the large canvas; Debbie Reda has also painted a large painting for the show, "The Planet Lesson", which shows a playful discussion of little monsters against a black background instead of the usual brightly coloured backgrounds, combining curiosity with a sense of humour.

哈维·卡波内（Xavi Carbonell）的参展作品也是2023年的新作，延续其一贯的涂鸦风格，物体在画面中的大小和颜色对比更加两极化，但又在冲突中保持着微妙的平衡；呈现类似微妙矛盾的，还有胡安·米格尔·帕拉西奥斯（Juan Miguel Palacios）的作品《变体-20》（Variations-XX），颜料笔触飞溅于虚空中，但厚度与阴影又给予了其穿越于平面与现实间的能力，抽象元素的身份在这一刻变得多元。

Xavi Carbonell's work in the exhibition, also new for 2023, continues his usual graffiti style, with the size and colour contrasts of the objects in the picture becoming more polarised, yet maintaining a subtle balance in the midst of the clash; Presenting a similarly delicate contradiction is Juan Miguel Palacios's work " "Variations-20", where paint strokes splash in the void, but the thickness and shadow give them the ability to cross between the plane and reality, and the identity of the abstract elements becomes multiple at this moment.

艺术家雅各布·维拉托（Jacob Vilató）也亲临展会现场，携其经典系列“静坐的男人”（Homme Assis），为观众展现静坐一刻下暗涌的思绪：强对比的色彩和黑白水墨般的质感营造出不同的气场，但毫无疑问，行动与思考的力量皆汇聚于此，震慑心魄。关于黑白与色彩的碰撞，亦不能错过杰米·桑格罗（Jaime Sancorlo）的作品《升温》（Heat Up）和《云朵突袭》（Air Raid)。以旧照片为底色，加入如小火龙和马里奥等令人耳熟能详的彩色卡通元素，艺术家对战争的反思极易引发观者的共鸣，令人欢笑，亦引人深究。

Jacob Vilató was also present at the exhibition, with his classic series "Homme Assis", showing the audience the thoughts that emerge from a moment of meditation: the contrasting colours and the black and white ink-like textures create different auras, but there is no doubt that the forces of action and thought converge here, shocking the mind. The collision of black and white and colour is also not to be missed in Jaime Sancorlo's "Heat Up" and  "Air Raid". Using old photographs as a backdrop and adding familiar colourful cartoon elements such as Fire Dragon and Mario, the artist's reflections on war resonate with viewers, making them both laughable and thought-provoking.

恪理画廊还展出了阿罗尔（Arol）的新作《保持快乐》（Be Happy）。粉色剧场中充斥着梦幻的泡沫和飞舞的精灵，火焰状糖果和蓝色茶饮为这场庆典抹上了更为惬意的滋味。置身于画前，快乐让人止步、沉沦。八进制（Vuitbits）的雕塑作品《太空入侵者》系列（Space Invader）和《看看我的脸》（Look At My Face）也在展出之列。透明树脂使像素格变为现实雕塑，柔化了数字的冰冷感，作品的俏皮惹人玩味。

Caelis Galeria is also showing "Be Happy", a new work by Arol. The pink theatre is filled with dreamy bubbles and fluttering elves, while flaming candies and blue tea drinks add a more pleasant flavour to the celebration. In front of the painting, the joy stops and sinks. Vuitbits' sculptures "Space Invader" and "Look At My Face" are also on display. Transparent resine transforms the pixel grid into a realistic sculpture, softening the coldness of the numbers, while the playfulness of the works is intriguing.
