浮标 SIGNAL·视觉语言实验场，位于杭州市西湖区，毗邻中国美术学院象山校区，是一个试图激发城市记忆的独立艺术空间。
我们关注：图像如何生成意义？观看如何构成现实？作为一个“实验场”，我们鼓励跨媒介、跨学科的创作实践，不设限地接纳来自绘画、摄影、影像、行为、装置、设计等不同领域的表达者。
我们相信，图像不是结果，而是一种信号——它不断召唤出未被言说的感知、身份、情绪与语言。
就像“浮标”，既是指引方向的标记，也是漂浮在现实海面上的异物。它不属于任何既定体系，却愿意与每一位具有探索欲的人，一起试验、对话、拆解视觉语言的可能性。
在这里，艺术不止发生在白盒子中。它也试图回到日常生活，介入公共现场，唤醒城市肌理中那些被遮蔽、被遗忘的敏感地带。
Buoy SIGNAL·Visual Language Playground , located in West Lake District, Hangzhou, adjacent to the Xiangshan Campus of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts, is an independent art space that tries to stimulate urban memory.
We are concerned about: how does the image generate meaning? How does watching constitute reality? As an "experimental field", we encourage cross-media and interdisciplinary creative practice, and accept expressors from different fields such as painting, photography, image, behavior, installation, design, etc. without limit.
We believe that the image is not a result, but a signal - it constantly evokes unspeaked perceptions, identities, emotions and language.
Like a "buoy", it is not only a sign to guide the direction, but also a foreign object floating on the real sea. It does not belong to any established system, but it is willing to experiment, dialogue and disassemble the possibility of visual language with everyone who has a desire to explore.
Here, art is not only in the white box. It also tries to return to daily life, intervene in the public scene, and awaken the hidden and forgotten sensitive areas in the urban texture.
