前言

FOREWORD

在这个充满创造力的时节，我们因创新设计相聚于这个4500平方米的展厅，共同见证厦门大学创意与创新学院2026届本科毕业生的成长与蜕变。本次展览不仅凝结了学生四年学习与探索的成果，更是一份回应时代命题的未来提案，承载着即将迈入社会的年轻设计者对未来的思考与回应。

当今世界，科技革命和产业变革深刻重塑着人类的生产与生活方式。设计，作为连接技术创新与人文关怀、融合审美理想与现实需求的桥梁，正日益成为推动社会进步、文化繁荣和可持续发展的重要力量。面对复杂多变的全球性挑战和日新月异的技术迭代，创新设计教育必须深植现实土壤，培养青年一代在真实世界中发现并解决问题的智慧和能力。唯有突破固有的专业壁垒和线性文化结构，才能让跨学科与跨文化的学习与实践转化为创意与创新设计的驱动力；而产教融合则是将国际在地化的知识学习和知识生产与本土现实需求相结合，应对全球化格局的重要价值体现。

作为厦门大学的首个中外合作办学机构，创意与创新学院在过去的六年中充分利用新的发展契机，在教育资源、师资队伍和办学条件上进行了全方位的建设：我们以兼收并蓄的态度，在融合中英双方教学内容上采取了一系列的创新性改革举措；在人才培养、学科建设和课程设置上，进行了大幅度的调整；与此同时，学院迅速建立起一支国际化、高质量的师资队伍。以上的发展为这所新的学院打造了一个全新的培养创新设计人才的教学与科研平台。

作为ICI设计季的核心组成部分，厦门大学创意与创新学院2026届毕业设计展共展出视觉传达设计、环境设计、数字媒体艺术三个专业学生的200多件毕业设计作品。我们希望本次毕业展览能向社会各界观众全面且准确的反映出创意与创新学院的教学定位和特色：即培养和训练学生以批判性思维和自主性学习为实践导向，用设计语言重构文化记忆，在虚拟与现实之间探索未知边界，在跨文化和跨学科设计的疆域中持续追问本质，创造可能。

在以上教学理念的引导下，学生们以基于问题的实践作为探索路径，从技术、文化、伦理、可持续性等多个层面突破既有的知识规则和实践方法，以个性化的视角在当下与未来的夹缝中探寻问题。他们以敏锐的洞察力介入社会议题，富有创造性地表达个人对现实事物的认知以及对未来事物的预测与想象。他们用作品证明了设计的价值绝非止步于美学，而是以创新的姿态回应真实世界的需求。

最后，我想对即将毕业、开启人生新征程的同学们说：我为你们在过去四年的辛勤学习和目前取得的成果感到骄傲。愿你们继续保持对世界的好奇和对社会的责任感，坚持追求自己的梦想，自强不息，止于至善。在未来的设计中创造无限的可能。

In this season brimming with creativity, we gather in the spirit of innovation and design within this 4,500-square-meter exhibition hall to witness the growth and metamorphosis of the 2026 class of graduates from the Institute of Creativity and Innovation (ICI) at Xiamen University. This exhibition stands not merely as a culmination of four years of academic endeavor but also as a vibrant testament to the future-oriented innovations of young designers poised to make their mark on society.

In today's world, technological revolution and industrial transformation are profoundly reshaping human production and lifestyles. As a bridge connecting technological innovation with humanistic care and integrating aesthetic ideals with practical needs, design is increasingly becoming a vital force driving social progress, cultural prosperity, and sustainable development. Faced with the complex and ever-changing global challenges and rapidly evolving technological iterations, innovative design education must be deeply rooted in practical realities, cultivating the wisdom and ability of the younger generation to discover and solve problems in the real world. Only by breaking through entrenched professional barriers and linear cultural structures can interdisciplinary and cross-cultural learning and practice be transformed into drivers of creative and innovative design. Furthermore, the integration of industry and education embodies the crucial value of combining localized international knowledge acquisition and production with native practical needs to address the dynamics of globalization.

As Xiamen University's first Chinese-foreign cooperative education institution, ICI has leveraged new development opportunities over the past six years to comprehensively enhance its educational resources, faculty, and operational conditions. Adopting an inclusive approach, we have implemented a series of innovative reforms in integrating the curricula of Xiamen University and University for the Creative Arts. We have made significant adjustments in talent cultivation, academic discipline development, and course offerings. Meanwhile, we have rapidly assembled a high-quality internationalized faculty team, laying the groundwork for a novel teaching and research platform dedicated to nurturing innovative design talents.

At the heart of ICI Design Season, the 2026 ICI Degree Show showcases over 200 graduation projects from students majoring in Visual Communication Design, Environmental Design, and Digital Media Arts. This exhibition endeavors to comprehensively and accurately reflect ICI's educational ethos and distinctiveness to audiences from all walks of life: fostering critical thinking and autonomous learning as cornerstones of practice, employing the language of design as a vehicle to reconstruct cultural memory, exploring the uncharted territories between the virtual and reality, and relentlessly probing the essence of design and its possibilities across cultural and disciplinary boundaries.

Guided by the above educational principles, students embark on a journey of problem-based inquiry, transcending conventional knowledge paradigms and practical methods from multiple levels such as technology, culture, ethics, and sustainability, exploring problems from a personalized perspective in the gap between the present and the future. They intervene in social issues with keen insight, creatively expressing their personal cognition of reality as well as their predictions and imaginations of the future. They have demonstrated through their works that the value of design is not limited to aesthetics, but rather responds to the needs of the real world with innovative approaches.

Finally, to our graduating students who are about to embark on a new journey in life: I am proud of your arduous efforts and remarkable achievements over the past four years. May you carry forward your curiosity for the world and sense of societal responsibility for society, steadfastly pursue your dreams with unwavering dedication, and strive for perfection. May you create boundless possibilities in the design landscape of tomorrow.
