Danysz gallery is proud to announce its participation in 2023 ART021 from the 9th to 1th of November. The gallery will present artworks byZinan LAM, Xizi LIU, Mariusz Waras (aka MCITY), Andre Saraiva, Rakajoo at our booth W04.
林子楠(ZINAN
LAM
)中国当代艺术家、涂鸦艺术家。艺术生涯起步于2003年，其创作旅程从城市的街头到公共空间，至今跨向更广阔的维度，作品遍布全球⻆落。林子楠在创作旅程中不断打破陈规，而后深入地域文化挖掘，通过东⻄方文化的链接，探索传统与现代的边界，在多元文化的融合下建立属于自己的独特世界观。作品创作核心围绕自然、东方文化、当代意识及个人感观。现作品涉足公共艺术、绘画、雕塑装置等诸多媒介，他尝试用不同物质排列成新的概念层状结构，并在研究和创作的过程中升华新的领域。

Zinan Lam is a contemporary Chinese artist and graffiti artist. His artistic journey began in 2003, starting from the streets of the city and expanding to broader dimensions, with his works now scattered across corners of the world.Throughout his creative journey, Zinan Lam continuously breaks conventions and delves deep into regional cultures. Through the connections between Eastern and Western cultures, he explores the boundaries of tradition and modernity, establishing his unique worldview within the amalgamation of diverse cultures.The core of his artistic creations revolves around nature, Eastern culture, contemporary consciousness, and personal sensibilities. His current works span various mediums, including public art, painting, and sculpture installations. He experiments with arranging different materials into new conceptual layered structures, elevating new realms in his research and creative process.
刘溪子，参茸燕窝店，2023，布面丙烯油画，200 x 140cm，作品由艺术家提供刘溪子1992年出生于山东济南，现居北京工作生活。本科毕业于中央美术学院油画系，研究生毕业于美国华盛顿圣路易斯。刘溪子的作品来自于一些生活化的片段，是大家有着共同记忆和相似情感体验的地点。刘溪子用场景绘画的方式记录着这个时代的消费社会景观和生活碎片，用温暖绚烂的色彩和丰富细节给人最直观的视觉体验，在图像轻松愉快的背后形成特有的风格趣味。艺术家用独特的绘画语言去诠释她眼中的生活，用绘画表现图像所忽视的温度和情感。
刘溪子，满月，2023，布面丙烯油画，60 x 80cm，作品由艺术家提供Liu Xizi was born in Jinan, Shandong Province in 1992 and now lives and works in Beijing. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and a graduate student from Washington University in St. Louis. Liu Xizi's works come from some real-life scenes, which are places where everyone has a common memory and similar emotional experience. Liu Xizi records the landscape of consumer society and fragments of life in this era through scene painting, providing the most intuitive visual experience with warm and colorful colors and rich details, forming a unique style and interest behind the relaxed and pleasant images. The artist uses a unique painting language to interpret the life in her eyes, using painting to express the temperature and emotions ignored by images.

The artist, Mariusz Waras（aka MCITY）, is known for traveling around the world and creating large-scale stenciled artworks depicting major cities. Some of the cities he has worked on before Shanghai include Singapore, Paris, London, and he has plans to paint in Miami and Dubai in the future. M-City's artistic concept revolves around the exploration and portrayal of urban environments, particularly industrial spaces. Growing up in an industrial area in Poland, he draws inspiration from the factories, hydroelectric plants, chimneys, and cranes that surrounded him during his childhood. Through his art, he pieces together hundreds of carefully cut stencils to create intricate and coherent cityscapes. M-City's global journey to paint major cities around the world reflects his fascination with urban spaces and their diverse characteristics. By exploring different cities and their unique qualities, he aims to create a visual narrative that highlights the interconnectedness of urban environments globally.
