上周，我们的文化参赞冯云汉（Johan Van Hove）在福佳沉浸式互动体验活动的开幕式上发表了讲话。福佳沉浸式互动体验活动是一个在北京的比利时大使馆旧址举行的关于比利时啤酒几百年历史及其酿造过程的沉浸式表演展览。来自比利时的酿酒大师专程来到中国，向参与者展示酿造啤酒的艺术。
Last week, our Cultural Counsellor Johan Van Hove gave a speech at the opening ceremony of the Hoegaarden Master Class, an immersive performance exhibition about the centennial history of this Belgian beer and its brewing process that took place at the old Belgian Embassy in Beijing. Master brewers from Belgium came to China specifically to show others the art of brewing beer.
在中国以及世界上其他地方，几乎随处都能买到比利时啤酒，这是有原因的：简单地说，那就是我们擅长酿造啤酒。比利时拥有跨越几个世纪的优秀酿酒文化，国境内酿造的啤酒约有1500种。我们的啤酒以其复杂和独特的风味而闻名，我们的酿酒师以其精湛的工艺而闻名。
Belgian beers can be bought pretty much everywhere in China and the rest of the world, and there’s a good reason for that: quite simply put, we’re good at making them. Our country boasts a rich brewing culture that spans centuries, with about 1500 different beers being brewed within our borders. Our beers are renowned for their complexity and unique flavours, and our brewers are known for their craftsmanship.
百威英博是比利时在中国最大的啤酒出口商之一，当然并不是唯一的出口商。我们为自己的啤酒品种之丰富感到自豪，在中国也能买到许多不同种类的比利时啤酒。不过，我们始终很荣幸能参加百威英博的活动，不仅因为我们喜欢他们的啤酒，同时也因为该公司的可持续发展实践，尤其是在水利方面。这让他们成为其他比利时公司学习的榜样。
AB InBev is one of Belgium’s biggest beer exporters in China, but not the only one, of course. We pride ourselves on our variety of beer, which is represented by the many Belgian exporters present in this country. Nevertheless, we are always happy to participate in AB InBev’s events because we do like their beer, of course, but also because the company’s sustainable practices, notably in the domain of water conservancy, make them an example to follow for other Belgian companies.
啤酒不仅仅是一种商品或清爽的饮料，它还是不同背景的朋友相聚、分享和联系的一种方式。因此，比利时啤酒以自己的方式成为比利时人和中国人之间的桥梁，让我们有机会在共同的兴趣爱好中建立联系。为友谊举杯！
Beer is much more than an economic commodity or a refreshing drink, it is also a way for friends of different backgrounds to get together, to share, to connect. As such, Belgian beer is in its own way a bridge between Belgians and Chinese people, giving us the opportunity to bond over our shared interests. Cheers!
