The Hon Madelaine King MP, Minister for Resources, Minister for Northern Australia.
Australia brings such strength in the resources sector and, as such, it was a genuine privilege to have had the opportunity to promote our credentials – our large critical mineral reserves, technical expertise, and track record as a reliable and responsible supplier of resources and energy, while also reinforcing the role Australia can play in meeting global critical and battery mineral needs into the future.
The World Bank has predicted the demand for critical minerals in renewable and clean energy technologies to increase 500% by 2050. The global rise of electric vehicles is also predicted to increase demand in battery minerals.
Future Facing Commodities Conference 2024 will bring together world leaders of Electric Vehicle and the critical minerals industry with global capital markets to meet at one major event in one major city.
The full spectrum of the supply chain will be represented by end users, battery energy storage, manufacturers, miners and explorers, traders, governments, and of course, Investors.
Companies attending the Future Facing Commodities Conference will be central to meeting this demand as the world transitions to renewable energy generation to offset the impact of climate change.
