韩国国际艺术博览会 KIAF Seoul 2023 | 阿拉里奥画廊展位 Booth B1

阿拉里奥画廊荣幸宣布即将参加2023年 9 月 6 日至 10 日举办的韩国国际艺术博览会（KIAF Seoul 2023），展位号为B1。今年，画廊将继续同期参加首尔弗里兹艺术博览会（FRIEZE Seoul 2023），双展位将共同呈现涵盖绘画、雕塑和摄影等多种媒介在内的精选之作。

ARARIO GALLERY will be participating in "KIAF Seoul 2023" taking place from September 6th to 10th. The gallery plans to present various mediums, paintings, sculptures, and photographs in both Frieze Seoul and KIAF Seoul.

此次展览将重点推介在韩国现代雕塑史上留下重要足迹的雕塑家们。首先，韩国第一代抽象雕塑的代表人物严泰丁将展示他2023年创作的新作《魔法门》等。自 20 世纪 60 年代以来，严泰丁一直为铁的物质性所深深吸引，他不断探索材料和物质本身，并专注于金属雕塑的创作。艺术家本次所展示的雕塑作品形式都是抽象的，突出展现了对比色与内外材料的质地。作品映射了韩国传统木制家具和横梁的形式结构，而以铝板和钢架为主要材料的雕塑作品则更注重形式感。

At the KIAF booth, ARARIO GALLERY will focus on introducing sculptors who have left significant footprints in the history of Korean modern sculpture. First, UM Tai-Jung, the representative of Korea's first-generation abstract sculpture, will present his new work Magic Gate along with his drawing works. Since being fascinated by the materiality of iron in the 1960s, UM Tai-Jung has continued to explore materials and substances, specializing in metal sculptures. He has showcased sculptures with abstract forms that prominently display contrasting colors and textures of internal and external materials, works reflecting the forms of traditional Korean wooden furniture and crossbeams, and sculptures that focus more on formative qualities using aluminium plates and steel frames as main materials.

与此同时，柳仁的作品《入山 II》（1987 年）因在继承具象现代雕塑传统的同时引入了创新的表现手法而备受关注。他利用雕塑的体积和重量以及材料的物理特性探索人体，同时通过对身体部位进行大胆的省略与变形，以及对于着重于戏剧性的表达为作品带来了强烈的形式感。柳仁曾在弘益大学研究生院主修雕塑，将传统处理人体的艺术方式和现代表现手法融会贯通，在韩国现代人像雕塑界被赞誉为“独一无二的艺术家”。1993 年，他荣获文化体育观光部颁发的“当代青年艺术家”奖，并在 20 世纪韩国雕塑史上留下了不朽的足迹。

Meanwhile, RYU In's Entering the Mountain II (1987) attracts attention, inheriting the tradition of figurative modern sculpture while introducing innovative expressions. RYU In has explored the human body using the volume and weight of sculpture, and the physical properties of materials, while also introducing formality in his works through bold omission and distortion of body parts, and dramatic emphasis. He majored in sculpture at Hongik University and its graduate school, and has built a reputation as a unique artist in Korean modern figurative sculpture by handling the human body in traditional ways while using modern expressions. He was awarded the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism's 'Young Artist of Today' award in 1993 and has left monumental works in 20th-century Korean sculpture history.

此外，画廊还将展出如今备受国际瞩目艺术家权五祥的雕塑作品，他因在当代雕塑领域进行全面性实验而闻名 。权五祥始终对雕塑的特性保持质疑的态度，并通过融合实验性媒介以寻求新的形式结构。展位还将呈现以探索雕塑本体论为主题的多件作品，包括“除臭剂类型”和“浮雕”系列。

Sculptures by GWON Osang, who has received international attention for his comprehensive experimentation in contemporary sculpture, will also be on display. GWON has consistently questioned the identity of sculpture and sought new formative structures through experimental medium convergence. The booth will exhibit his various works that explore the ontology of sculpture, including the 'Deodorant Type' and 'Relief' series. 

顿善弼的雕塑作品因年轻化、创新化、反映亚文化主题而备受关注。我们能看到顿善弼在他的作品中捕捉到了围绕人物形象而展开的社会和文化现象，由此表现出了一种独特、细腻和执着的探索精神和情感。

Sculptures by DON Sunpil, who is gaining attention for his youthful and innovative sculptures on subculture themes, will be displayed. DON has captured the social and cultural phenomena surrounding figures in his work, demonstrating a unique, meticulous, and obsessive spirit of inquiry and affection.

此外，如今活跃在各大画廊、美术馆和商业空间的知名艺术家作品也将被悉数展出。包括元性媛的大型摄影作品——将数百张精确拼贴的照片被转化为绘画般的图像；朴雄奎的“傀儡”系列——艺术家以东方绘画为形式基础，将消极和负面情绪融入其中；以及李正培的当代风景作品——他在雕塑般的平面上一层又一层地涂画了数百遍。

In addition, works by established artists who are actively working in galleries, art museums, and commercial spaces will be exhibited. These include WON Seoung Won's large-scale photographic works, which transform hundreds of precisely collaged photos into painting-like images; PARK Wunggyu's ‘Dummy’ series, which incorporates negativity and negative emotions into the form of paintings based on oriental painting; and LEE Jeongbae's contemporary landscape work, where the sculptural flat surface is painted layer upon layer hundreds of times.

阿拉里奥画廊自1989年创立至今，分别于韩国天安、首尔和上海拥有其支点画廊。在过去的三十年间，阿拉里奥画廊始终致力于关注与推广亚洲与国际艺术家，丰富其艺术家名单，并长期培养支持年轻艺术家。其代理的五十余位艺术家来自韩、日、中、印和东南亚地区各国，涵盖自20世纪70年代至今的实验艺术先锋，创作门类包括视觉艺术、绘画、雕塑、影像以及装置等众多艺术类别，突出展现亚洲地区令人瞩目的社会历史文化。
