前言
向外漫游，收集亚洲文明带来的丰富感知；向内落笔，在沉淀与迸发之间探寻落笔的支点。一收一放构成 Cristina Ghetti 上海驻地独有的创作节奏，她脱离惯性思虑，全然沉潜于当下。本次 Cristina 在上海的驻地创作，正是这⼀过程的真切映照：她既是游者，亦是织者。
“游”是主动的栖居。穿行上海街巷，城市空间、日常肌理与浮动心绪尽数沉淀为创作养分。画布上绵延舒展的线条，既是漫游走过的轨迹，亦是驻地时光凝练而成的视觉印记。
“织”是恒定的创作内核。Cristina 将线条与色块视作视觉经纬，以几何结构构建出高度识别性的画面。她用线性语言梳理感知，以克制的色块叠加层次与体量，将瞬息的经验转化为坚实的视觉存在，用独属于她的视觉语法，完成与这座城市的深层对话。
旅居生活流动不定，绘画则是恒定的精神坐标。Cristina Ghetti 以干脆利落的几何结构回应变幻，在线条的秩序中安放情绪——在流动中持守，在创造中自足。

Foreword
Wandering outward, she gathers the rich perceptions brought by Asian civilization; turning inward to paint, she seeks the point of balance between accumulation and release. The rhythm of gathering and releasing defines Cristina Ghetti's unique creative pace during her Shanghai residency, as she breaks free from habitual reflections and fully immerses herself in the present. This residency project by Cristina Ghetti in Shanghai is a true reflection of this process: she is both a wanderer and a weaver.
"Wandering" is active dwelling. Walking through the streets and lanes of Shanghai, she absorbs urban spaces, everyday textures, and fluctuating moods as nourishment for her work. The sweeping lines on the canvas are both traces of her wanderings and visual marks condensed from her time in residency.
"Weaving" is the constant core of her practice. Ghetti treats lines and color blocks as visual warp and weft, constructing highly recognizable compositions with geometric structures. She orders her perceptions through a linear language, builds layers and volumes with restrained color blocks, and transforms fleeting experiences into a solid visual presence—using a visual syntax uniquely her own to engage in a deep dialogue with this city.
Life as a transient resident is fluid and unsettled, yet painting remains her constant spiritual anchor. Cristina Ghetti responds to changes with crisp geometric structures and places her emotions within the order of lines—holding steady amidst flux, and finding self-sufficiency in creation.

Cristina Ghetti
职业艺术家，1969年生于阿根廷，现生活工作于西班牙瓦伦西亚。她先后获得瓦伦西亚理工大学美术学士学位及视觉艺术与多媒体硕士学位，目前于西班牙瓦伦西亚大学博士学位，研究课题为“异构几何学”。
Ghetti的创作以几何抽象为内核，横跨绘画、装置与新媒体领域。她利用数字编程来生成复杂的构图，连接了数字精度和传统绘画。其艺术语言融合了俄罗斯构成主义、风格派及南美文化等多重基因，形成具有跨文化特征的几何形态。
作为拉丁美洲艺术家与女性主义者，她从非中心的视角重新审视抽象艺术运动，关注情境化知识与身体参与，在重复性劳作中接纳笔触偏差与材料阻力，使之成为作品的内在要素。
在中国驻留创作期间，她将书法练习中的"田字格""米字格"网格，以及传统书画装裱所用的绫绢织物、卷轴册页形态，系统性地融入几何抽象创作，以凝练笔触呈现对在地文化的感知。东亚古典美学为其注入新活力，催生出跨文化视角下的多面作品。
Cristina Ghetti is a professional artist born in Argentina in 1969. She currently lives and works in Valencia, Spain. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master's degree in Visual Arts and Multimedia from the Universitat Politècnica de València, and is now pursuing her doctoral degree at the University of Valencia, with her research themed Insurgent Geometries.
Centered on geometric abstraction, Ghetti’s practice covers painting, installation and new media. She adopts digital programming to create elaborate compositions, bridging digital precision and traditional painting. Her artistic vocabulary draws on Russian Constructivism, De Stijl and South American culture, shaping geometric forms with cross-cultural traits.
As a Latin American artist and feminist, she reinterprets abstract art movements from a decentralized perspective, focusing on situated knowledge and physical engagement. She embraces repetition in her creation, and integrates brushwork irregularities and material resistance as essential parts of her works.
During her artist residency in China, she systematically incorporated grid patterns for Chinese calligraphy, traditional silk fabrics for art mounting, as well as the forms of scrolls and albums into her geometric abstraction. With concise brushwork, she expresses her insights into local culture. East Asian classical aesthetics has infused new vitality into her practice and inspired a diverse body of works from a cross-cultural perspective.
