珀德画廊荣幸宣布，于2026年6月14日呈现来自马来西亚的华人艺术家曾伟昌（Alan Chen）最新个展「吉韵」。展览汇聚艺术家标志性的"刮刀山水"系列，以及舞狮题材等不同时期作品，以鲜明色彩与层叠刮刀肌理，将东方吉祥意象转化为可感知的视觉能量场。
"吉韵"精准概括了曾伟昌创作的双重维度。"吉"是他的文化底色——生于马来西亚华人家庭，幼年耳濡目染的舞狮节庆，构成了他理解色彩与生命力的原初参照；"韵"则是他的艺术执念——中国传统绘画中那种气行于纸间、意在笔墨之外的状态。在他的"刮刀山水"中，调色刀取代毛笔，在颜料的推叠与流动之间，将山势、气韵与时间的痕迹同时凝固于画布。吉祥的色彩、律动的构图、刀与画布之间的摩擦与沉积——"吉韵"正是这一切交汇的瞬间。
曾伟昌的实践提供了一个难得的视角：一位成长于新加坡英语教育体系中的华裔艺术家，如何在多元文化的处境中，以异质材料探索传统山水的精神内核。他对”刮刀"的系统性探索，既区别于西方抽象表现主义对刮刀的物质性运用，也非传统山水对笔墨的依赖——在每一道刮擦与堆叠中，文化记忆与当代感知同时在场。山水从未只是风景，它始终是人如何安处于天地之间的内心秩序。「吉韵」，是这种秩序在色彩与能量中的一次欢欣显形。

Bird Gallery presents "Auspicious Energy," a solo exhibition by Chinese Malaysian artist Alan Chen, opening June 14, 2026. The exhibition features his iconic "palette knife landscapes" and lion dance-inspired works from various periods. Through bold colors and layered knife textures, Chen turns traditional auspicious imagery into a tangible visual energy field.
"Auspicious Energy" captures the two dimensions of Chen's art. "Auspicious" reflects his cultural roots: raised in a Chinese Malaysian family, the lion dance festivals shaped his sense of color and vitality. "Energy" speaks to his artistic pursuit — the traditional Chinese painting ideal where energy flows through brush and meaning lies beyond ink. In his palette-knife landscapes, the knife replaces the brush: pushing and flowing pigment, he fixes mountain forms, rhythmic energy, and time's traces onto the canvas. Auspicious colors, dynamic compositions, the friction and buildup of blade on canvas — "Auspicious Energy" captures their convergence.
Chen's work offers a rare perspective: a Chinese Malaysian artist raised in Singapore's English-language education system, exploring traditional landscape's spiritual core with unconventional materials in a multicultural context. His systematic use of the palette knife differs from Western Abstract Expressionism's material approach and traditional ink painting's brushwork — in every scrape and buildup, cultural memory and contemporary perception coexist. Landscape is never mere scenery; it is the inner order through which one finds their place between heaven and earth. "Auspicious Energy" is the joyful manifestation of that order in color and energy.

马来西亚艺术家。以其独创的「刮刀山水」為创作核心，结合东方山水的村神意象与西方箱画的结构语汇，形构出介於诗性与理性之间的视觉风景。以刀代笔，在画布上反覆推叠，使山势、气与时间痕跡，转化為层层流动的肌理。运用大胆的色彩对比，在东方笔墨的内敛节奏，与西方抽象的自由能量间取得平衡。為山水创作展开全新当代视野，开啟文化记忆与心灵感知间的对话。
