European Voices in Youth Literature and Illustration at BIBF
The EUNIC （European Union National Institute for Culture） China Cluster proudly presents “Words, Worlds & Vibes: European Voices in Youth Literature and Illustration at BIBF”, a vibrant two-day celebration of European creativity at the 2026 Beijing International Book Fair (BIBF). Organized by Italy, Poland, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Romania, Greece, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Sweden, and Spain, the event will bring together renowned European authors and illustrators to engage with Chinese audiences through a rich and dynamic programme. The events will take place on 18 and 20 June at the International Stage on the 3rd floor of the China National Convention Center (No.7 Tianchen East Road, Chaoyang District, Beijing). Visitors will enjoy interactive workshops, live readings, children’s performances, artistic encounters, and hands-on activities designed to inspire imagination, dialogue, and intercultural understanding. Through stories, images, and shared experiences, the event aims to foster closer connections between Europe and China while highlighting the diversity and vitality of contemporary European literature and illustration. Acclaimed Chinese author Liu Zhenyun, this year’s BIBF Reading Promotion Ambassador, will also be in attendance, lending his esteemed support to this unique and distinguished programme.

欧盟国家文化机构联合会（EUNIC）中国集群荣幸呈现文字·世界·氛围 — 青年文学与插画：BIBF上的欧洲之声，这是一场于2026年北京国际图书博览会（BIBF）期间举办的为期两天的欧洲创意文化盛会。本次活动由意大利、波兰、瑞士、荷兰、罗马尼亚、希腊、奥地利、克罗地亚、匈牙利、瑞典及西班牙共同组织，汇聚多位享誉国际的欧洲作家与插画家，通过内容丰富、形式多样的活动，与中国观众展开深入交流。活动将于6月18日及20日在中国国家会议中心三层国际舞台（北京市朝阳区天辰东路7号）举行。届时，观众将参与互动工作坊、现场阅读、儿童表演、艺术交流及体验式活动，在激发想象力与创造力的同时，促进对话与跨文化理解。通过故事、图像与共享体验，本次活动旨在进一步加强欧洲与中国之间的文化联系，展现当代欧洲文学与插画的多样性与活力。中国著名作家、BIBF年度阅读推广大使刘震云先生亦将莅临现场，为这一独具特色的重要文化项目提供支持与助力。
