在2026年巴塞尔艺术博览会的“艺廊荟萃 Galleries”单元，北京公社将在展位S19带来艺术家洪浩、胡晓媛、梁远苇、刘建华、马秋莎、石佳韵、王光乐、谢墨凛、闫冰、尹秀珍、苏予昕、张晓刚与周轶伦的作品，呈现来自不同代际的艺术家的创作实践。与此同时，北京公社将在“策展角落 Kabinett”单元展出志韦的个人项目“壳”。
For the Galleries sector of Art Basel in Basel 2026, Beijing Commune (Booth S19) will present a dynamic selection of recent works by artists spanning multiple generations, including Hong Hao, Hu Xiaoyuan, Liang Yuanwei, Liu Jianhua, Ma Qiusha, Shi Jiayun, Wang Guangle, Xie Molin, Yan Bing, Yin Xiuzhen, Su Yu-Xin, Zhang Xiaogang, Zhou Yilun, and more. In additional the group presentation, Beijing Commune this year will feature Zhi Wei's solo project “Shell”in the Kabinett sector.

北京公社将在2026年巴塞尔艺术博览会呈现艺术家志韦的Kabinett个人项目“壳”，带来其最新的《壳》系列绘画作品以及一件大型软雕塑。类似蜗牛的形象在这里显得充满好奇、同时又总是自我保护。这些形象引自中世纪抄本中对远东住宅是一个巨大蜗牛壳的想象、一战后德国建筑师对未来房屋的有机螺旋状设计、以及自然界中寄居蟹寻找适配贝壳的生存模式，而这三者的每一个都象征着个体所面临的某种危机——知识的、存在的、或人性的。与此同时，鼓胀的《一个绿色的抽绳格纹布袋》，绳索被拉紧，里面像是藏着什么惊人的秘密。在对这些形式看似笨拙的夸张处理中，外部世界的未知与危机被转化为一种在躲藏和包裹之中的个体的怀疑与犹豫。

Beijing Commune is pleased to present artist Zhi Wei's Kabinett solo project "Shell" at Art Basel 2026, bringing together their latest series of paintings titled Shell and a large-scale soft sculpture. At the threshold dwell snail-like figures: self-protective yet enamoured. They reference medieval manuscripts, hermit crabs exchanging borrowed homes, and Hermann Finsterlin’s utopian spirals, each emblematic of its own crisis—of knowledge, of existence, of humanity. Zhi Wei distills these into haunting iconographies on jacquard and gingham, veiled by semi-transparent mesh. Nearby, an inflated bag becomes a corporeal sanctuary, its cords drawn tight—the interior both concealed and felt. Through the seemingly awkward poetry of accentuated shapes, the presentation conjures a realm where form migrates not just through historical lineage but immediate touch. Here, the unknown and the perils of the external world are curiously transformed into the doubt and hesitation of an individual in hiding and retreat.
