The Most Beautiful Swiss Bookscompetition was established by the Swiss Federal Office of Culture (FOC) and has been held annually since its inception, making it one of the most prestigious and enduring book design awards in the world. The competition recognises outstanding achievements in book design across all categories, reflecting Switzerland's centuries-old tradition of precision craftsmanship and its enduring commitment to the book as a cultural object.
Since 1997, the FOC has complemented the competition with the Jan Tschichold Award, named after the legendary typographer and book designer, to honour lifetime achievement in the field. Together, these two awards form a comprehensive ecosystem that nurtures both emerging talent and established masters, ensuring Switzerland's continued leadership in the art of the book.

2026年一月下旬，由瑞士联邦文化局主办的评选活动从388本参选作品中遴选出17本2025年度获奖图书。在苏黎世赫尔姆豪斯美术馆首展之后，书籍前往日内瓦艺术设计学院、圣加仑邮政总局图书馆和巴塞尔美术馆，并远赴各大洲亮相。
此次，最新评选出的17本“瑞士最美的书”将亮相于6月11日至14举办的2026 UNFOLD上海 · 艺术设计节，同时还有往期的获奖书籍共约100本一起呈现给上海观众。展览期间，入选2025年「瑞士最美图书」奖的设计者马丁·施托克林将为带来一场讲座，并在讲座之后继续带领大家导览“瑞士最美图书展”。
In late January 2026, the 17 winners of the Most Beautiful Swiss Books competition were selected from among the 388 works published in 2025 and submitted for consideration. The exhibition programme for 2026 is currently taking shape. Following the inaugural exhibition in Zurich (Helmhaus), the books will be on display in Geneva (HEAD), St. Gallen (Bibliothek Hauptpost) and Basel (Kunsthalle Basel) followed by an international tour.

2026年6月11日至14日，2026 UNFOLD上海·艺术设计节将在上海新天地东台里——喇格纳小学旧址拉开帷幕。
本届艺术设计节以"回到小学，回到童年"为主题，在拥有近百年历史的现代主义建筑空间中，呈现一场为期四天的书籍艺术与创意设计盛会。
喇格纳小学建于1935年，是上海最早的华人小学之一。UNFOLD将在这一百年建筑迎来大规模改造前，举办其最后一场公众活动。
UNFOLD成立于2017年，是一个专注于书籍艺术与纸上创作的展会和活动策划品牌，由香蕉鱼书店发起，自2023年起获得上海市书刊发行行业协会指导。以「UNFOLD：展开与翻阅」为内核，致力于构建一个连接创作者、出版人与爱好者的平等交流平台，激发关于书籍艺术与阅读美学的多元探索。
The 2026 UNFOLD Shanghai will open at the former École Primaire de Lagrené in Xintiandi Dongtai Li, Shanghai.
Under the theme "Back to Primary School, Back to Childhood", this four-day celebration of book art and creative design unfolds within a modernist building of nearly a century of history.
Built in 1935, École Primaire de Lagrené was one of the earliest Chinese-founded primary schools in Shanghai. UNFOLD will stage its final public event in this century-old building before its large-scale renovation.
Founded in 2017, UNFOLD is an exhibition and event brand specialising in book art and works on paper. Initiated by BANANAFISH Books and guided by the Shanghai Book and Periodical Distribution Industry Association since 2023, UNFOLD takes "UNFOLD: Unfolding and Browsing" as its core concept, committed to building an equal exchange platform connecting creators, publishers and enthusiasts, and inspiring diverse explorations of book art and reading aesthetics.
