展览预告 | 经纬新章——中华服饰基因的当代叙事国际巡展-即将在瑞典斯德哥尔摩中国文化中心启幕

服饰是文明的具象载体，东方服饰的经纬之间，承载着民族的自然观、生活智慧，更流转着千年礼序与诗意。

Clothing is a tangible carrier of civilization. Within the warp and weft of Eastern attire lie a nation's views on nature, wisdom of life, and the flow of millennia of ritual order and poetry. 

由北京服装学院与斯德哥尔摩中国文化中心共同主办，北京服装学院民族服饰博物馆承办的国家艺术基金2026年度传播交流推广资助项目“经纬新章——中华服饰基因的当代叙事” 国际巡展（瑞典站）将于6月5日在斯德哥尔摩中国文化中心隆重启幕。

The Swedish stop of the international touring exhibition “Heritage Revived: Modern Takes on Chinese Costume Traditions ”—a 2026 Communication and Promotion Project funded by China National Art Fund, co-hosted by Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology and  China Cultural Center in Stockholm, and organized by Ethnic Costume Museum(BIFT)— will grandly open at China Cultural Center in Stockholm on June 5th.

Tie-dye Workshop

亲手扎染纹样，感受传统印染工艺的独特韵味；通过染料与纤维间的层叠浸润，了解中国传统技艺背后的文化内涵与民族智慧。

Hand-dye tie-dye patterns and experience the unique charm of traditional printing and dyeing techniques. Through the layered infusion of dyes and fibers, gain insight into the cultural connotations and ethnic wisdom behind traditional Chinese crafts.

The curator personally explains the exhibition concept and key exhibits, guiding you to deeply understand the context of costume art. Engage in interactive discussions with faculty and students from Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology, exploring the innovative expression of traditional crafts in modern design.

展览以“经纬”为核心框架，“经”为时间纵向绵延，回溯传统服饰的造物观念与精神内核；“纬”为空间横向延展，展现古老基因与当代设计、科技的创新融合。经纬相交，织就服饰文化传承与新生的时空之网。

Taking“warp and weft”as its central framework, the exhibition uses the “warp”to trace the continuity of time and the spiritual core of traditional dress, while the“weft”extends across space, showing how ancient cultural genes meet contemporary design and technology. Together, warp and weft form a network of inheritance and renewal across time and space.

循着这一脉络，展览从梳理传统服饰文化基因出发，呈现当代创作者的创造性转译，展示新材料、新技术为传统技艺注入的未来想象，最终落脚于全球化下的文化共生，让东方美学与世界产生共鸣。本次展览汇聚两百余件展品，既有凝练历史智慧的民族传统服饰，也有彰显时代精神的当代设计创作，古今相映，诠释服饰文化的传承与创新。

Following this thread, the exhibition traces the cultural genes of traditional dress and their creative translation by contemporary designers. Bringing together more than 200 exhibits, it features traditional ethnic dress, historical wisdom, and contemporary design works that express the spirit of the times. It shows how new materials and technologies bring future imagination to traditional crafts, and how ancient and modern works respond to one another in the inheritance and innovation of dress culture.
