时值深圳美术馆建馆五十周年，东湖馆这座承载城市半世纪文化记忆的艺术地标，正以全新姿态续写艺术华章。继“青云筑梦——深圳青年水彩画家邀请展”“青云筑梦——当代青年工笔画家邀请展”后，“深圳美术馆（东湖馆）青年艺术创研计划”再启新篇，“制物生新——当代青年综合材料创作邀请展”展览以材料为媒，探索当代艺术的无限边界。

On the occasion of the Shenzhen Art Museum's 50th anniversary, the Donghu Branch, an artistic landmark that has carried the city's cultural memories for half a century, is now turning a new page in its ongoing story of artistic brilliance.

Following An Invitational Exhibition of Watercolor by Young Artists in Shenzhen and Contemporary Young Artist's Fine Brush Painting Exhibition under the "Dreams Built on the Azure Clouds" series, the Youth Art Research and Creation Initiative of Shenzhen Art Museum (Donghu Branch) opens a new chapter with Crafting New Realms — Invitational Exhibition of Contemporary Youth Mixed Media Art, using materials as a medium to explore the infinite boundaries of contemporary art.

五十年深耕不辍，深圳美术馆始终与城市文化脉搏同频，以东湖馆为阵地，依托“青年艺术创研计划”，持续为青年艺术家搭建创作、研究与展示的平台。本次展览不仅是对传统艺术精神的传承延续，更是当代青年艺术语言的创新拓展。

For fifty years, the Shenzhen Art Museum has never ceased to cultivate the arts, always beating in rhythm with the city's cultural pulse. With the Donghu Branch as its home and the Youth Art Research and Creation Initiative as its driving force, the museum has continuously built a platform where young artists can create, research, and share their work. This exhibition is not merely a continuation of traditional artistic spirit; it is also an expansion of contemporary youth art language into new frontiers.

综合材料艺术自西方萌芽，于中国扎根生长，历经数十年发展，已成为打破传统绘画边界、融合多元媒介的独立艺术形态。在深圳这片创新沃土之上，青年艺术家以敢闯敢试的精神，深耕综合材料创作领域。他们不拘泥于单一形式，将天然材质、工业元素、现成品等多元媒介融入创作，在肌理、质感、空间的碰撞中，解构传统、重构表达，以立体、多元、先锋的艺术语言，回应都市生活、时代精神与内心思考。

Born in the West and deeply rooted in China, mixed media art has evolved over decades into an independent artistic form that breaks through the boundaries of traditional painting and embraces a diversity of media. In Shenzhen, a city of innovation, young artists, driven by a daring and exploratory spirit, have immersed themselves in the field of mixed media creation. Unconfined by any single form, they integrate natural materials, industrial elements, found objects, and other varied media into their works. Through the interplay of texture, materiality, and space, they deconstruct tradition and reinvent expression, responding to urban life, the spirit of the times, and their inner reflections with a multidimensional, pioneering artistic voice.

展览汇聚当代青年艺术中坚力量，呈现他们在综合材料领域的探索成果。作品或以材料质感复刻古典美学；或突破平面束缚，让艺术与空间、装置交融共生；或聚焦当下生活，用新锐视角抒写时代感悟。这既是对“青云筑梦”系列艺术理念的深化，也是青年艺术家在传承中创新、在守正中突破的生动实践。

This exhibition brings together the backbone of contemporary youth art, presenting their explorations and achievements in the field of mixed media. Some works recapture classical aesthetics through the texture of materials; others break free from the constraints of the flat surface, allowing art to merge and breathe with space and installation; still others turn a keen eye to contemporary life, offering fresh perspectives on the spirit of the age. This is both a deepening of the artistic vision behind the "Dreams Built on the Azure Clouds" series and a vivid testament to how young artists innovate within tradition and break new ground while holding fast to essential values.

以丹青为基，以材料为翼，“青云筑梦”展览系列将持续推出多元艺术形态的精彩呈现，不断丰富“深圳美术馆（东湖馆）青年艺术创研计划”内涵。我们坚信，传统文脉与青春活力在此交融，古典精神与当代创新在此碰撞，必将孕育出更多独具特色的艺术成果。愿青年艺术家们以匠心制物，以创新生新，在艺术探索之路上勇攀青云，为深圳文化事业注入源源不断的青春动能，绘就属于这个时代的艺术新篇。

With traditional painting as their foundation and materials as their wings, the "Dreams Built on the Azure Clouds" exhibition series will continue to present a rich diversity of artistic forms, steadily enriching the Youth Art Research and Creation Initiative of Shenzhen Art Museum (Donghu Branch). We firmly believe that where traditional heritage meets youthful vitality, and where classical spirit meets contemporary innovation, more unique artistic fruits will surely be nurtured. May young artists craft with dedication and create with innovation, scaling the azure clouds on their artistic journey. May they infuse Shenzhen's cultural enterprise with an enduring flow of youthful energy and paint a new artistic chapter for this era.
