On August 27, Mr. He Suyuan,Consul General of the U.S. Consulate in Shenyang, gave a thumbs-up after trying Songhua Lake Beer and frozen pear juice, raving "Both are delicious!"As the 15th China-Northeast Asia Expo kicked off, Jilin City's image booth—encapsulating its ice and snow scenery, industrial resources, famous specialty products, and development blueprints—was brilliantly presented to domestic and foreign business visitors, becoming the highlight of the Open Cooperation Pavilion at the Northeast Asia International Expo Center.
The design of Jilin City's image booth, themed "The Great Eastern Landscapes Welcome the World; Jilin City Gathers All to Forge Win-Win Futures", takes the "One Center, Four Bases" development strategy as its main thread. Across its 360-square-meter space, it fully showcases the city’s image as a renowned tourist resort and a modern industrial base.
Tasting the flavors of the seasons, savoring Jilin City's cuisine. Freshly baked bread, still warm from the oven, delighted the Russian girls. After taking a bite, its fluffy and tender texture made their eyes light up with joy, and they kept praising it, saying, "I really like it!" and "It's delicious!" Birch sap and frozen pear juice were sweet and refreshing; when they tasted Chinese baijiu, they couldn’t help but give a thumbs-up, impressed by its rich and mellow taste.
