Vanguard 画廊荣幸呈现有机·奥诺黛拉的个展“散点”,呈现艺术家创作于2026年的一系列新作。“散点”以2025年于“上海”与“巴黎”两座城市拍摄的银盐照片为起点。上海是艺术家二十年来断续停留的城市,巴黎则是其定居超过三十年的生活据点。然而,此次展出的作品系列,并非旨在刻画两座城市各自背负的历史或文化。相反地,两座城市被视为等价的“散点”呈现,其物理与文化距离,在图像碎片被解体与重构的过程中逐渐消融。展览已于2026年5月9日开幕,并将持续至6月27日。
Vanguard Gallery is pleased to present “Scatter Points” by Yuki Onodera, featuring a series of new works created in 2026. This exhibition takes as its point of departure silver gelatin photographs shot in the two cities of “Shanghai” and “Paris” in 2025. Shanghai is a city the artist has intermittently visited over the past twenty years, while Paris has been her base of life for more than three decades. Yet the body of work presented here does not seek to depict the history or culture inherent to each city. Instead, the two cities are presented as equivalent “scatter points,” their physical and cultural distances dissolving in the process of disassembling and reconstructing fragments of images. The exhibition opened on 9 May 2026 and will remain on view through 27 June.

有机·奥诺黛拉是一位以当代艺术的方式驾驭摄影的艺术家。她会采用剪报等手法来制作作品,对照片进行加工的同时也用银盐摄影来创作;她曾将玻璃球放入相机之中进行拍摄,根据事件与传说来构建故事、并据此来到地球的背面进行拍摄等等。对她而言,照片不仅仅只是素材,而是应该对其本质进行探求的对象,她运用所有的手法,创作了很多探讨“摄影是什么”“摄影的意义是什么”等问题的实验性作品,并发表了很多独特的、不为摄影这个框架所限制的系列作品。

Yuki Onodera is an artist who masters photography that takes form in contemporary art. She uses methods such as clipping newspaper, and machining the works while completing her creation using silver salts photography. She uses any possible method to realize her works, whether this means taking photographs with a marble inside her camera, or creating a story out of a legend and traveling to the ends of the earth to shoot it. Onodera’s experimental work, which does not fit within schemas of “photography” often poses two questions: what is photography, and what can be done through it?
Yuki Onodera was born in 1962 in Tokyo, Japan, and currently lives and works in Paris, France.
