陕西时光美途文旅产业发展有限公司 Shaanxi Time Beauty Travel Culture Industry Development Co., Ltd.陕西省美术家协会策展委员会Curatorial Committee of Shaanxi Artists Association西安美术学院弘美画廊 Hongmei Gallery, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts陕西中西钢笔画研究院Shaanxi Institute of Western and Eastern Steel Pencil Drawings半山茶仓 Half-Mountain Tea Warehouse2026年5月16日（周六）19:00—21:30西安市未央区启源三路1号诗地美术馆（浐灞国家湿地公园内）Shi Di Art Museum, No. 1, Qi Yuan Third Road, Wanyang District, Xi’an City (within the Chanba National Wetland Park)雅昌艺术网 Ya chang Art Network弘美艺术中心 Hongmei Art Center“合抱之木，生于毫末。”这句出自《老子》的古语，道尽了万物生长的根本：再庞大的存在，也始于微小的萌发；再深厚的积淀，也来自日复一日的扎根。西安的当代艺术生态，正是这样一片由无数个体探索滋养而成的森林。每一位艺术家都是一棵独立的树，向下汲取着这片土地的历史记忆与文化养分，向上生长出属于自己的语言、观念与形态。本次展览汇集了三十八位西安当代艺术的中坚力量与探索者，其中包括两位领衔艺术家侯拙吾、张华洁，以及其他三十六位活跃于不同方向的创作者。我们以五个单元——墨之玄、色之尘、抱之朴、木之寂、融之元——来呈现他们各自不同的关切与路径。这五个单元并非题材的分野，而是五种精神方向的凝练：或沉潜于墨色的玄妙，或凝视于尘世的肌理，或静观于木质的寂然，或归返于朴素的本真，或游走于媒介与观念的融通。它们交织在一起，构成了一幅西安当代艺术生态的横截面。合抱之木，不是一木独大，而是众木成林。我们无意给出单一的叙事或统一的风格，而是希望每一位观者都能在这片林中，找到那棵与自己发生感应的树——无论是因为技法的打动，还是因为观念的共鸣。这也是诗地美术馆的初心：做一个多元、开放、聚焦原创的艺术空间，让好的作品被看见，让创作者与欣赏者、设计师、藏家乃至更广阔的公众相遇于此。从这场“合抱之木”开始，愿这样的相遇持续生长。A Tree of Girth – 2026 Xi’an Contemporary Art Exhibition“A tree as large as a hug is born from the tiniest beginnings.” This ancient saying from the Book of Lao Tzu captures the fundamental principle of growth in all things: even the most massive entities begin with tiny sprouts, and even the most profound accumulations arise from daily efforts to take root.The contemporary art ecosystem in Xi’an is akin to a forest nurtured by the explorations of countless individuals. Each artist is a solitary tree, drawing upon the historical memories and cultural essence of the land below, while growing upwards to develop their own unique language, concepts, and forms.This exhibition brings together 38 key figures and pioneers of contemporary art from Xi’an, including two leading artists, Hou Zhuo-wu and Zhang Hua-jie, along with 36 other creatives active in various fields. We have organized the exhibition into five sections: the Mystique of Ink, the Dust of Color,“Wood’s Quietude, Fusion’s Essence” – these five units showcase their unique concerns and approaches. These five modules are not divisions of subject matter, but rather condensations of five distinct spiritual directions: immersion in the enigmatic depths of ink, contemplation of the textures of the mundane world, quiet observation of the stillness of wood, return to the simple essence of things, and exploration of the convergence of mediums and ideas. Together, they form a cross-section of Xi’an’s contemporary art ecosystem.A tree that can be encircled by one’s arms is not simply a single large tree; rather, it is a forest composed of numerous trees. We do not intend to present a singular narrative or a uniform style; instead, we hope that each viewer will be able to find the tree within this forest that resonates with them – whether it be due to the appeal of the techniques used or the resonance of the ideas presented.This is also the original intention of the Poetry Land Art Museum: to create a diverse, open, and focused artistic space that highlights original works, allowing them to be seen, and enabling creators to meet with appreciators, designers, collectors, and the broader public. Starting with this “wood embraced by two hands,” may such encounters continue to flourish.
