芳草地画廊呈现展览“泳合”。以毛新国的《墨体》系列和徐畅的《大字》系列为索引，展览带来两位艺术家以纸本水墨为主的十余件近作。

“泳合”是一个自创汉语词汇。“泳”指向水墨落画瞬间，水作为流动载体携领碳颗粒于多孔的薄纸之上自由潜泳的行动；“合”则是中国工尺谱中的一个音名，它可以代表低音“so”（简谱里的5），是传统宫调音乐中的关键支点音——起到承上启下作用的“合”通常要求卓越的稳定性。水与墨的旅程即为一场泳合，载体自身在墨色抵达并形成沉积结构前不断蒸发、消逝，在纸纤维上完成飞白、积墨与不均匀的边缘图像。

展览将持续至2026年7月5日。

Parkview Green Art presents Yonghe, an exhibition centred on Mao Xinguo’s Ink Beings series and Xu Chang’s Large Characters. Bringing together over a dozen recent works by the two artists, the exhibition primarily features ink on paper, and runs from 26 April 2026 to 5 July 2026.

Yonghe is a neologism. “Yong” evokes the moment when ink first meets the surface: water, as a mobile medium, carries carbon particles in a free, submerged drift across the porous delicacy of paper. “He” is a pitch name in the Chinese gongche notation system, often corresponding to the lower sol (scale degree 5). Within traditional modal music, it functions as a crucial structural pivot—a tone that links what precedes and what follows, and thus demands a high degree of stability. The movement of water and ink may therefore be understood as a form of yonghe: before pigment settles into structure, the medium itself continually evaporates and disperses, leaving traces such as feibai (flying white), accumulations of ink, and irregular edge formations within the fibres of the paper.
