
4月22日下午,理学院本科生毕业设计海报展在中心楼大厅顺利举办。188张海报汇集了应用化学、生物科学、生物信息学和环境科学专业毕业生的研究成果。从探索免疫系统在疾病中的作用,到利用人工智能进行分子设计;从新能源材料的性能优化,到生态环境与生物多样性的研究,学生们以多样的研究视角回应现实世界中的科学问题,展现出扎实的科研训练与创新潜力。
On the afternoon of 22 April, the 2026 Final Year Project (FYP) Poster Presentation was successfully held in the Central Building lobby. A total of 188 posters showcased the research achievements of final-year students from Applied Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Bioinformatics, and Environmental Science programmes. The projects covered a wide range of topics — from exploring the role of the immune system in disease to applying artificial intelligence in molecular design; from optimising the performance of new energy materials to investigating ecological environments and biodiversity. Through these diverse research perspectives, students engaged with real-world scientific challenges, demonstrating strong research training and promising innovative potential.

During the event, participating students introduced the background, methodology and key findings of their research, and engaged in in-depth academic discussions with faculty members and fellow students. The projects covered a wide range of areas, including immune mechanisms in disease, AI-assisted molecular design, optimisation of new energy materials, as well as environmental microbiology, wastewater treatment and biodiversity, attracting many attendees to stop, engage and exchange ideas.
