作为杭州最新⼀代活跃的艺术家，PAPAPEPIA使⽤PVC作为材料创作雕塑和绘画。PAPAPEPIA的艺术创作基于探索原始、单语和视听之间的神秘联系。他以声像感知复合体“A”（发⾳为ah）序列为创作母体，试图⽤⾮线性逻辑对其进⾏重新定义。“PVC”是他的重要创作材料，因为这种材料看起来像⽣物的“⽪肤”，他认为PVC材料不仅与信息的透明度相对应，⽽且当弯曲折叠时，不同的光线和观看⾓度会在作品表⾯呈现多种A的形态，就好像他创造的⽣物在喃喃⾃语。
“A（啊）复合体基因是我创作的核⼼。发现字母‘A’的丰富性，最初是因为我的猫。当他想引起我的注意时，他会叫我⼀个简短的‘啊，啊’（他认为这⽐‘喵’更直接有效），当他不⼩⼼抓伤我时，我会尖叫“啊~”，发⾳是⼀样的，但含义完全不同，我觉得这很有趣，所以我开始在⽣活中收集“A”，当我慢慢地把发现的A（符号学、⽣物学，甚⾄⼀些咒语和原始语⾔等）放在⼀起时，当我把它们拼凑起来，我发现‘A’只是有⾃⼰的宇宙。通过这种神秘的联想，我开始了⼀个独⽴、开放、值得探索的‘A’系统。”

As one of the most active artists of the latest generation in Hangzhou, PAPAPEPIA uses PVC as the material to create sculptures and paintings. PAPAPEPIA's artistic creation is based on exploring the mysterious connections among the primitive, the monolingual and the audiovisual. He takes the "A" (pronounced as "ah") sequence of the audio-visual perception complex as the creative matrix and attempts to redefine it with non-linear logic."PVC" is an important creative material for him, because this material looks like the "skin" of living organisms. He believes that PVC materials not only correspond to the transparency of information, but also when bent and folded, different light and viewing angles will present a variety of forms of "A" on the surface of the works, as if the creatures he created are murmuring to themselves.
"The 'A' (ah) complex gene is the core of my creation. The discovery of the richness of the letter 'A' was initially inspired by my cat. When he wanted to get my attention, he would call me a short 'ah, ah' (he thought it was more direct and effective than'meow'). When he accidentally scratched me, I would scream 'ah~'. The pronunciation is the same, but the meaning is completely different. I found it very interesting, so I began to collect 'A' in life. When I slowly put together the discovered 'A' (semiotics, biology, and even some incantations and primitive languages, etc.), when I pieced them together, I found that 'A' has its own universe. Through this mysterious association, I started an independent, open and worthy-ofexploration 'A' system."
