Wang Xueyi

Artist, Freelance Illustrator, Jewelry Designer (Female). She graduated from Imperial College London and Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Canada, and once studied as an exchange student in the Illustration Department of Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), USA. Her works draw inspiration from ancient Eastern and Western myths and folklores, focusing on the narrative expression of painting and the use of symbolism and metaphor jewelry design. Her published books include the full-length graphic novel *Bosch: The Summit of Pilgrimage* and the fairy-tale art picture book *Princess Mayflower*, etc. She has created cover illustrations for the *100 Years of Chinese Children's Literature: Science Fiction Volume* series published by Magic Kingdom Books, and has been a contracted contributor to COSMO magazine.
