The CMEF (China International Medical Equipment Fair), known as the “wind vane” of the global medical industry, kicked off at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) on April 9, 2026. Nearly 5,000 companies around the world gathered to showcase the latest product technology research and development results and solutions.
IMS Gear (Taicang) Co., Ltd. presented our precision transmission solutions at the exhibition, which provided high-precision, low-noise, and highly reliable drives for medical equipment. We displayed our planetary gearboxes for different applications such as peristaltic pumps, dialysis fluid pumps, and flow control mechanisms. Also, there has many visitors inquired about the individual gear components. Besides, based on our extensive experience in transmission systems within the automotive application, we have started to use similar motor transmission systems for rehabilitation products. For example, we try to use plastic components to optimize the NVH performance of wheelchair motor drive modules, which provides the user a quieter experience.
In future, IMS Gear will continue to be driven by innovation, deepening our involvement in diverse sectors such as healthcare, automotive, and industrial automation. We will leverage our core transmission technologies to empower high-end manufacturing and contribute to the development of these industries.
