珀德画廊荣幸宣布,将于2026年4月3日至5月3日在上海震旦美术馆呈现画廊代理艺术家文彩银(Mun Chaeeun)的最新个展「起风的一天」(A Windy Day)。展览涵盖艺术家标志性的经典图像与近期新作,沿着"风"这一核心隐喻,将当代人在高速运转的日常中被压抑的情绪暗流转化为可感知的视觉体验——构建出一个既轻盈又充满共情力的心理场域。

在文彩银的创作中,"起风"并非自然现象的再现,而是一个关于情绪如何显形的隐喻。在效率优先的社会节奏与东亚文化根深蒂固的情感克制下,"我没事"早已成为本能的自我保护,而悲伤、焦虑、脆弱等情绪往往在浮出水面之前就被迅速压回。文彩银精准切入这一集体心理症候,用画笔让被藏匿的情绪"乘风而起"——化为缠绕飘逸的发丝、凝结的珍珠,或拟人化的风灵形象,发展出一种温柔而具有抵抗性的真诚。

回溯文彩银的创作脉络,可以看到一条清晰的深化轨迹。早期作品聚焦情绪随风消散的"释放"瞬间,画面轻盈流动,已展现出将抽象情感转译为具象图像的独特天赋。而此次展出的新作标志着一次关键转向:她不再满足于描绘情绪的"出口",转而凝视更幽微的心理地带。《Twins》通过画面中精心设计的复现与错位,呈现同一个体内部情感的矛盾共存;《握握》则大胆定格了人们明知痛苦却紧攥不放的"滞留"时刻。从"释放"到"滞留",这一转向将她的创作从对情绪的感性描摹,推向了对人类心理机制更深层的追问。

文彩银的实践恰好回应了当下两个重要的文化议题。一方面,当"情绪价值""内耗"成为社交媒体高频词汇,情感体验正被快速标签化和商品化,而她选择用绘画这一缓慢媒介还原情绪本身的复杂性与不可简化性——不提供速效的情绪出口,而是邀请观者与自身那些说不清的感受共处。另一方面,在全球具象绘画回潮的趋势中,她将柔和的视觉图像与心理相融合,形成了一套既亲切又具有思想纵深的视觉语言,使作品触达观众内心——证明了在情感日益被简化的时代,绘画依然拥有直击心灵、拓展共情的持久力量。

Bird Gallery is pleased to announce A Windy Day, a solo exhibition by represented artist Mun Chaeeun, on view April 3–May 3, 2026 at Aurora Art Museum, Shanghai. Presenting the artist's iconic motifs alongside recent works, the exhibition follows the central metaphor of "wind" to transform the suppressed emotional undercurrents of contemporary life into tangible visual experience—a psychological space at once buoyant and deeply empathetic.

In Mun's practice, "the rising wind" is not a depiction of nature but a metaphor for how emotions become visible. Under the efficiency-driven tempo of modern life and the deep-seated emotional restraint of East Asian culture, "I'm fine" has long served as instinctive self-protection, while sadness, anxiety, and vulnerability are swiftly repressed before they surface. Mun incisively engages this collective psychological condition, letting concealed emotions "rise with the wind"—transmuted into entangled, flowing hair, crystallized pearls, or personified wind spirits—developing a mode of expression at once tender and resistant in its sincerity.

Tracing the arc of Mun's oeuvre reveals a clear trajectory of deepening inquiry. Earlier works focused on emotions dissipating in the wind—compositions of lightness and fluidity that demonstrated a gift for translating abstract affect into figurative imagery. The new works here mark a pivotal shift: no longer content with depicting emotional "release," Mun turns toward more elusive psychological terrain. Twins employ orchestrated repetition and displacement to expose contradictory affects coexisting within a single subject; Grip boldly freezes the moment of "retention"—when one knowingly clings to pain and refuses to let go. From release to retention, this turn propels her practice beyond affective rendering toward a deeper interrogation of human psychological mechanisms.

Mun's work speaks to two pressing cultural concerns. As terms like "emotional value" and "inner depletion" saturate social media, lived experience is rapidly labeled and commodified. Mun chooses painting—a slow medium—to restore the complexity and irreducibility of feeling, inviting viewers not toward quick catharsis but into dwelling with sensations they cannot easily name. Meanwhile, amid the global resurgence of figurative painting, she fuses soft visual imagery with psychological depth, arriving at a language both accessible and intellectually resonant. Her work affirms that in an age of flattened affect, painting retains its power to penetrate the heart and expand the boundaries of empathy.
