" 李莜(b.1986)以“逆光果实”等意象为载体，通过"身体"、“果实”系列消解当代人的迷失与焦虑，以柔和的光线构筑疗愈性的精神场域；林格(b.1983)承袭家学，浸润于艺术文脉，从敦煌壁画、传统刺绣中汲取养分，融汇西方现当代形式美学，作品兼具历史叙事与生活意趣；石榴(b.1995)将盛满酒液的玻璃瓶中呈现的人参状混合器官塑造为关怀与滋养的对象，藉由雕塑系列探讨关怀与剥削、亲密与支配等女性主义议题；徐沫(b.1980)观察并记录日常城市生活，将对外部世界的感知与思考以隐喻方式隐藏在漫画化的视觉外壳之下，在相互消化与消解中达成自我调和。四位艺术家以“叙事轨迹”与“形态生发”为线索，在传统与当代、理性与温情的共振中展开艺术的双重探索，织就跨领域的感官对话。
Li You (b.1986) employs imagery such as backlit fruits as a vehicle, using her Body and Fruit series to dissolve the disorientation and anxiety of contemporary existence, weaving a healing spiritual realm with gentle light. Lin Ge (b.1983), immersed in an artistic lineage through family heritage, draws inspiration from Dunhuang murals and traditional embroidery, synthesizing these with Western modern and contemporary formal aesthetics to create works imbued with both historical narrative and the vitality of everyday life. Shi Liu (b.1995) presents sculptural forms where ginseng-like, hybrid organs reside within bottles filled with liquor, presenting them as objects of care and nourishment to explore feminist concerns around care and exploitation, intimacy and domination. Xu Mo (b.1980) observes and documents quotidian urban life, concealing his perceptions of the external world metaphorically beneath a concretized comic surface, where these elements mutually digest and dissolve each other to achieve a form of self-reconciliation. Guided by the threads of "narrative trajectory" and "formal generation," these four artists unfold a dual inquiry into art within the resonance between tradition and contemporaneity, rationality and tenderness, weaving a transdisciplinary sensory dialogue.

李莜的作品一直以来试图探讨人的自我觉知的治愈与成长。从早期的《胶囊》与《医疗盘》到《历史课》和近年的《身体》与《果实》，试图通过艺术的形式来消解当代人的迷失与焦虑。近年作品用逆光中的水果指代个人与环境的关系，尝试回到创伤期反复用温暖的光爱抚个体使其更具温柔的力量。

Li You's work has consistently sought to explore the healing and growth of human self-awareness. From her early works Capsule and Medical Tray to History Lesson, and more recently Body and Fruit, she attempts to dissolve the disorientation and anxiety of contemporary people through artistic forms. In recent years, she has used fruit in backlighting to symbolize the relationship between the individual and their environment, trying to return to the moment of trauma and repeatedly caress the individual with warm light, endowing them with a gentler strength.

SHI Liu 石榴 (B.1995)
石榴生活和工作在洛杉矶和北京的多媒介艺术家。本科曾就读于布朗大学，主修艺术史，辅修纯艺术。她通过影像、装置和绘画等，探讨人类属性和女性话题。她的作品被布朗大学基金会，槟城州立美术馆等机构收藏。

本次展览的这一雕塑系列始于一种保存行为。盛满酒液的玻璃瓶呼应着药酒浸制和提取营养的传统，将人参般的混合器官呈现为关怀与滋养的对象。然而这一逻辑逐渐反转：有机形体膨胀、扭曲，最终侵占了容器，使保存转变为占据。这些形态介于植物与生命体、资源与躯体之间，令人联想到生殖器官以及被控制体系所塑造的受伤血肉。所有浸没元素均由可食用材料制成，使得酒液始终可饮，也让“消耗”从象征转为字面现实，呼应了生态女性主义对等级权力的批判——关怀与剥削、亲密与支配，始终循环于同一脆弱的结构之中。
SHI Liu s a multimedia artist living in Los Angeles and Beijing. Her works explore the blurring boundaries between humans and robotics, and the impact of technological advancements on individuals. Her works are included in permanent collection of Brown Investments, Penang State Art Gallery and other renowned institutions.

This sculpture series begins with an act of preservation. Glass bottles filled with alcohol echo traditions of medicinal soaking and extraction, presenting ginseng-like hybrid organs as objects of care and nourishment. Gradually, this logic reverses: the organic forms expand, distort, and overtake their containers, turning preservation into occupaion. Situated between plant and organism, resource and body, these forms recall reproductive anatomy and wounded flesh shaped by systems of control. All submerged elements are made from edible materials, allowing the alcohol to remain drinkable and making consumption literal rather than symbolic. The work reflects on ecofeminist critiques of hierarchical power, where care and exploitation, intimacy and domination, circulate through the same fragile structure.

LIN Ge 林格 (B.1983)
艺术家林格，1983年生于江苏南通，系著名画家林晓之子，毕业于清华大学美术学院。林格家学渊源，自幼浸润于浓厚的艺术氛围中，耳濡目染，深受多位名家大师的熏陶，研习画艺与艺术考古理论。林格的创作，呈现出鲜明的双向探索：他一方面从敦煌壁画、传统刺绣等民族文化遗产中汲取深沉养分；另一方面，亦博采西方现代艺术之形式美学与开阔视野。这使得其作品形式语言丰富多变，既蕴含宏大的历史叙事，又洋溢着隽永的生活情趣与幽默感。作为横跨绘画与设计领域的创作者，林格将其艺术理念延伸至实践层面，创立原创品牌“刺叙”。该品牌深刻继承了老工艺美院“向民间学习、为生活造物”的精神，巧妙融合中国刺绣工艺与中西方当代艺术语汇。其作品在强调功能与结构的同时，兼具传统学养与现代审美，成功打破了“纯艺术”与“实用美术”的界限。个展：2025年《旧径新民》价值空间，北京；群展：2025年 Art021 艺术博览会，上海。
Lin Ge, born in 1983 in Nantong, Jiangsu, is the son of renowned painter Lin Xiao and a graduate of the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University. With a deep family heritage in art, Lin Ge was immersed in a rich artistic environment from an early age, influenced by numerous masters, where he studied painting and art archaeology theories.
Linge's creative work demonstrates a distinct dual exploration: on one hand, he draws profound inspiration from cultural heritage such as Dunhuang murals and traditional embroidery; on the other hand, he incorporates the formal aesthetics and broad perspectives of Western modern art. This results in a diverse and dynamic formal language in his works, which encompass both grand historical narratives and enduring life charm and humor.
As a creator spanning the fields of painting and design, Lin Ge extends his artistic philosophy into practice by founding the original brand "Cixu" . The brand deeply inherits the spirit of the old craft art academy—"learning from folk traditions and creating for everyday life"—by skillfully integrating Chinese embroidery techniques with contemporary artistic vocabularies from both Eastern and Western traditions. Emphasizing functionality and structure, his works combine traditional scholarship with modern aesthetics, successfully breaking down the boundaries between "pure art" and "applied art," thus earning widespread acclaim from the market and collectors.

"Areté" originates from the Greek word ἀρετή, meaning "excellence," "virtue," and "the highest form of value." In ancient Greek philosophy, Areté represents the quality of something achieving a state of perfection across artistry, morality, and wisdom.
