Mirko Baselgia's (1982, Lenz, Switzerland) work highlights the essential interdependence between human beings and the natural world. Inspired by natural formations, he translates them into new aesthetic forms. His recent site-specific sculptural work—realized for Roche Basel—offers a profound exploration of human existence, the interconnectedness of living beings, and the concept of skin as the boundary between inner and outer space.

Tobias Kaspar (1984, Basel, Switzerland) explores the mechanisms of value production, taste, and desire within the art and fashion industries. His practice—spanning photography, object, and installation—examines how cultural meanings, styles, and myths, such as that of the artist's studio, are produced and circulated. With subtle irony, Kaspar employs the logics of consumption and aesthetics to expose the entanglements of market forces, identity, and artistic aura. Galerie Urs Meile presents his exhibition Atelier at the Zurich gallery, on view through January 24.

Urs Lüthi (1947, Kriens, Switzerland) explores themes of identity, sexuality, and the human condition. His work amplifies the emotions tied to recurring motifs such as the pursuit of happiness and love, a deep engagement with art history, an acceptance of the body's physical changes, and the exposure of contemporary society's taboos, sexual clichés, and normative gender roles. In 2027, the Kunstmuseum Luzern will present a major retrospective of Lüthi's oeuvre.

Rebekka Steiger's (1993, Zurich, Switzerland) paintings merge abstraction and figuration in vibrant, emotionally resonant compositions.

Hu Qingyan's (1982, Shandong Province, China) understanding of sculpture, whilst using a conceptual approach, is ever developing. His ideas on representation and space are based on an expanded definition of the medium of sculpture, and he challenges his viewers with his autonomous concepts. Hu Qingyan chooses marble as a medium to transform and reproduce the original proportions of surrounding objects, leading our attention to the sculpture's interior and essence, as well as the multidimensional exploration of society, philosophy, and politics, finally ushering the thinking about the complex relationship between art and life.

Rosalind Nashashibi (1973, London, UK) is a British-Palestinian painter and filmmaker. In both media she is preoccupied with looking, to the extent of passing over onto the side of the subject in a way that can be disconcerting and yet deeply empathetic. Her works are included in major public collections such as Tate, MoMA, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
