越南是“一带一路”建设沿线重点国家，是近年来经济增长最快的亚洲国家之一，是经济领域的一颗明星。2021年国内生产总值（GDP）同比增长2.58%。2022年越南经济增长较为可观，同比增长8.02%，与2022年年初时设定的6%到6.5%目标相比，实现巨大超越。
越南是东南亚国家联盟、亚太经济合作组织、世界贸易组织、区域全面经济伙伴关系协定成员，是亚欧会议的创始成员、未来11国之一。同时也是《全面与进步跨太平洋伙伴关系协定》（CPTPP）、《区域全面经济伙伴关系》（RCEP）的成员之一，越南还和欧盟签订了《越南与欧盟自由贸易协定》（EVFTA）。可见越南在国际市场上扮演了越来越重要的角色。

越南国家化工展览会是由中国国际贸易促进委员会化工行业分会、越南国家化工总公司和越南国家广告博览公司联合举办，是越南唯一的专业化工展览会，已连续成功举办17届，在越南化工领域引起巨大反响。该展览会现已成为越南乃至全东南亚地区规模最大、影响力最广、国际性最强、最具专业性及贸易性的化工盛会，每年吸引来自各地的优秀买家及采购商。
