The 163-inch Hisense 163MX is the industry’s first MicroLED display to feature a four-primary color RGBY (Red, Green, Blue, Yellow) pixel architecture. This innovative QuadColor design adds a yellow subpixel to the traditional RGB structure, expanding the display’s color range and enabling it to cover 95% of the BT.2020 color space—an improvement of 5% over previous RGB MicroLED systems. Built on self-emissive MicroLED technology, each pixel emits its own light, allowing for precise brightness control, perfect black levels, and infinite contrast without the need for a backlight.
