Australian Wine re-enter China Market
It is a good day for Australia’s wine industry. China’s Ministry of Commerce has lifted all tariffs on wine exports, which draws the dispute over wine to a close.
So what’s next? Austrade will work together with industry bodies such as Wine Australia, with state and territory governments and state-based industry bodies to help exporters prepare to re-enter the Chinese market given the changed technical requirements for labels and registration of products.
Austrade will also continue to support and promote Australian wine exporters as they take advantage of market diversification opportunities.
