Dezzani winery was founded in 1934 in Cocconato, set 491 meters above sea level in the renowned Riviera of Monferrato. The history of our wines is closely linked to this region, with its ideal microclimate, unique characteristics, and authentic traditions. The Romanesque, Gothic, and medieval architecture surrounded by Barbera, Albarossa, Cabernet, and Syrah’s rows create a strikingly captivating landscape.

It was 1934 when Luigi Dezzani senior founded his historic winery, essentially focused on production and distribution of local grapes. During 70's and 80's, his son Romolo upgraded the firm and worked in order to let Dezzani be one of those reference points of Piedmontese genuineness, and thus to be well-known all around Italy. The third generation Luigi Jr. continues the philosophy. It has been a choice of quality aimed to the production of prestigious wines, later on recognized by customers from all over the world.

Today, the historical entity is leaded by the Rocca family (five generations in the wine business) and Villa Rivalta (thousands of hectares and hundreds of families collected in cooperative) that are developing together important, tangible synergies trough a sensible supply chain management, modern technologies and long-lasting dedication.

Thanks to the strong relationships and collaborations in the region, Dezzani harvests grapes from one of the best vineyards in Langhe and Monferrato, which give our wines their typicity, unmistakable essence and character. Soil and wine properties, from the vineyards to the cellar, guarantee a sensory experience and establish a sort of journey trough Langhe, Roero and Monferrato Lands.
